Each person in our group has decided to try different approaches and implement them in our classrooms. We decided that we wanted to try different strategies that were more relevant to our placements and different grade levels.

Jigsaw: When initially deciding to implement the idea of a jigsaw activity to engage my students in an activity, I was under the impression that I was doing something great. I kept coming across the jigsaw strategy in articles and it kept coming up in conversation and I felt like it would be the most feasible and adequate thing to implement. I quickly came to the conclusion that although it was engaging, it wasn't all that entertaining for the kids.
